Impedance Bandwidth Improvement of a Planar Antenna Based on Metamaterial-Inspired T-Matching Network

چکیده

In this paper a metamaterial-inspired T-matching network is directly imbedded inside the feedline of microstrip antenna to realize optimum power transfer between front-end an RF wireless transceiver and antenna. The proposed network, which composed arrangement series capacitor, shunt inductor, exhibits left-handed metamaterial characteristics. matching first theoretically modelled gain insight its limitations. It was then implemented in 50- ? standard circular patch antenna, unconventional methodology. antenna's performance verified through measurements. With technique there 2.7 dBi improvement radiation 12% increase efficiency at center frequency, achieved over significantly wider frequency range by factor approximately twenty. Moreover, good correlation theoretical model, method moments simulation, measurement results.
